A great girly find

I have been meaning to go into a store in Newark for awhile now called the Old Crow. I finally got in there after my work out yesterday. It is a mostly country decoration store, but as I rounded a corner I found the most wonderous thing!


And it isn't just a cute girly hammer.


It is a multi-functional girly tool. Now I know these things have been around for a long time. My mom has one that I remember from when I was a kid, but this one has a cool design on it. It is also a screw-driver.

The best part? as if I haven't shown you enough...

the color yellow

I LOVE the color yellow. It is sunshine, happiness, bright, and fun. For the past couple of weeks I have been updating my kitchen. Painting the cabinets and walls and re-doing the counter tops. The color scheme I picked is yellow, black and cream. Today was the day I finally got to paint the walls with the "applesauce" color I picked. YEE..OWZA. I had to share this post from Facebook by my cousin Bailey. His words ring very true, and I stand by them. I feel as a society we need to move forward and not backward. is anyone out there?

It has been so long since I blogged. So much so that I let my domain expire and it isn't easy to reinstate it…things become more complicated with technology sometimes you just give up. And that is what I am doing now on the domain, giving up and I hope that I can get my monday back. I will be back here.
